One of the main challenges that newcomers to Fiverr face is getting their first sale.

The first sale is your first opportunity for the coveted 5* review and the initial step on your path to future sales, world domination, and getting that Scrooge McDuck money pool you’ve always dreamed of.

There’s no denying it, getting noticed on Fiverr can be a challenge. The platform has seen unprecedented growth at almost 50% year on year. While this is great for the company, it does mean the platform is somewhat saturated. This means that one of the main problems with Fiverr is the sheer volume of competition.

In many ways, Fiverr is quite a passive platform. You create the gig and wait for the sales to come in. There is no option to prospect. It adopts the Field of Dreams Model of “build it and they will come.”
